Georges River Council will be retrieving and replacing bins between March and July 2025. Garden Organics Bins at Multi-Unit Dwellings will be issued at the following ratio: Garden Organics Bin numbers at each property, effective February 2025, will be halved (as collection frequencies will increase from fortnightly to weekly effective Monday 3 March 2025). A maximum of 4 x 240L garden organics bins will be delivered per property.
This Application Form can be used by authorised persons or agents on behalf of the Owners Corporation to:
- Request a change to the number of Garden Organics (green lid) Bins at a multi-unit dwelling with shared bins.
- Request a Council Officer contact you to discuss options to manage garden organics above the maximum allocation of 4 x 240L Garden Organics Bins.
Once your application has been processed and approved you will receive an email notification informing you of when the bins will be delivered to site.
If you wish to replace a damaged, lost, stolen or missed bin, contact the Waste Hotline directly on 1800 079 390. The Waste Hotline is open Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm. You can also use Log it/Fix it to report your issue – search for ‘waste’ and choose the applicable request. You do not need to complete this Application Form if you a reporting a damaged, lost, stolen or missed bin.

This Application Form must be completed by authorised persons or agents on behalf of the Owners Corporation. Council may reject the form if it is not completed by the authorised persons or agents on behalf of the Owners Corporation.
This Application Form may be forwarded to the Owners Corporation (strata schemes) or an Association (community schemes) in order to verify the details provided within this Application Form if required for verification purposes. It is a crime to provide false or misleading information under the Crimes Act 1900.
