  • Introduction:

    • This application form can be used to request new or changes to your waste services, or to cancel a waste service.
    • Complete each section of this application form. An incomplete form may result in rejection of your application. 
    • Only the property owner or a managing agent on behalf of a property owner can submit this form. Tenants must request waste services through the managing agent.
    • Please allow up to 10 business days for the processing of this form.

    • Please refer to Council’s website for the range and type of waste services available at residential and commercial properties at the following link: www.georgesriver.nsw.gov.au/Services/Waste
    • Council will confirm bin delivery/removal dates with you at the time of processing this form.
    • Bins must:

    o   Be stored on private property

    o   Be presented to the kerbside no earlier than 12 hours prior to collection, and removed from the kerbside no later than 12 hours post collection.

    o   Be uncontaminated (only contain the correct items).

    o   Have their lids firmly closed and facing outwards.

    o   Be placed 30cm apart.

    o   Council’s contractor has the right to refuse to empty bins if the above requirements are not adhered to.

    o   For assistance with bin maintenance or replacement, please call the Waste Hotline on 1800 079 390.

  • Please note: if you require waste services for a mixed use property (a combination of commercial and residential waste services), you will need to complete this form twice – once for the residential component, and a second for the commercial component. This is because the waste and bin services offered to residential and commercial properties differ.

  • Please note: Council will nominate the collection day(s) upon processing of this application form. Collections are offered once or twice weekly, upon request. Bin collection services are provided Monday – Friday between 6am and 6pm. Bins presented on main roads may be presented from 4am

  • Applicant Declaration

  • I declare that I am the owner/authorised managing agent of the above property. I understand that changing the waste service will change the applicable fees that will be levied through the Rates and Charges Account. Future quarterly instalment amounts will be adjusted accordingly. Fees and charges are applied on a pro-rata basis.

    An administration fee will be charged, as per the Fees and Charges, for more than one change to waste services per financial year.
