  • The applicant must allow at least four weeks’ notice for the processing of the application, bin delivery and service commencement.


    Complete each section of this application. An incomplete form may result in rejection of your application. Only the developer, building manager, owner or strata manager can apply.


    The request must contain the Development Approval Reference number and have a full Occupation Certificate attached.


    Please Note: Bins can be delivered only after all documents are provided. The provision of services is subject to the risk assessment that will require an on-site meeting. The applicant must allow at least four week’s notice for the processing of the application and bin delivery.

  • Note: Commercial properties can request waste services from private waste contractors, or through Council’s waste service. Commercial properties are prohibited from accessing domestic waste services, and must source their own waste service.   • Bin Allocation

  • Standard bin allocation for all domestic properties in the Georges River Local Government Area is based on waste generation rates of 120L of general waste and 120L of recycling per unit per week.  
     
    The size and number of bins provided by Council may vary depending on availability, collection arrangements and property configuration/design. A Standard Domestic Waste Management Charge will be charged to each residential unit of the development.

  • Wheel Out Wheel Back Service

  • Wheel Out Wheel Back (WOWB) service can be provided by Council to eligible multi-unit developments. This can assist with presenting bins for collections. As part of this service, Council's waste collection contractor presents the bins from the approved bin storage area to approved collection area (kerbside or other location) for collection. Once emptied, the bins will then be moved back to the approved bin storage area. This service can only commence if a property complies with requirements and passes a risk assessment.

  • On-Property Waste Collection

  • Council may be able to provide On-Property waste collection for certain developments. Developments must satisfy collection vehicle access requirements and enable a council-contracted waste collection vehicle to stand on-site and service both bins and bulky waste. An indemnity form will also be required for these collection services.

  • I declare that I am the owner/authorised managing agent of the above property. I understand that changing the waste service will change the applicable fees that will be levied through the Rates and Charges Account. Future quarterly instalment amounts will be adjusted accordingly. Fees and charges are applied on a pro-rata basis.
